HOUSE DIJK     Blauwestad, Netherlands     (2007)

This simple house wrapped in corrugated steel and lifted off the ground plane, beautifully exhibits the rational simplicity of Dutch design (a) alongside the Scandinavian / Northern European affinity for carving or sectioning with an alternate material (b,c).
